Ferspuij Business Consultancy is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
What data is collected and why
Contact form. When you use the contact form, I collect your first name, last name, email address, company name and the content of your message. I use this data to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up on a possible engagement. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and, where an engagement follows, the performance of a contract.
Email and phone. If you contact me directly by email or phone, I process the data you provide in order to respond. The legal basis is the same as above.
Technical data. The website is hosted by Wix. Wix automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Analytics. With your consent, this website uses Wix Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and from which country. Analytics cookies are only placed after you accept them in the cookie banner. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the privacy settings link on the site.
This website does not use advertising or profiling cookies, and I do not sell personal data.
Cookies
This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and, with your consent, analytics cookies. Consent is managed through the cookie banner provided by Usercentrics. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the privacy settings link on the site.
Who has access to your data
I use the following service providers, who process data on my behalf under a data processing agreement:
Wix.com Ltd. for website hosting, the contact form, contact management and website analytics
Usercentrics GmbH for cookie consent management
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
I do not share your personal data with any other third party unless required by law.
How long your data is kept
Contact form submissions and related correspondence are kept for a maximum of 12 months after our last contact, unless an engagement follows, in which case the data is kept for the duration of the engagement and the legal retention period that applies afterwards. Technical log and analytics data is retained by Wix in line with its own retention policy.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email ferry@fbcworks.nl. I will respond within one month.
If you believe your data is being handled unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Access to contact form submissions is limited to me and protected by authentication. Wix applies its own technical and organisational security measures as a hosting provider.

I may update this policy when the website or applicable law changes. The date at the top shows the most recent version.
